The beginnings.
Mimica is the home of contemporary artisan stoneware, ceramics, and porcelain.The creation of Mary Peck, an award-winning Spanish artist, potter, and sculpturer, Mimica focuses on creating everyday homewares and ceramic accessories inspired by nature, elements of the earth, and the evolution of art.
With artistic training in Córdoba, where traditional Rambleña Pottery has been made for over 4,000 years; Mary is a true artisan who loves to push the boundaries of design. During her studies with renowned ceramist, painter, and sculptor Hisae Yanase, she discovered a new love for Japanese ceramics and contemporary art. Today, every piece she creates intimately combines ancient practices with modern design features to delight those who use it.

The process.
Every piece in the Mimica Collection is uniquely handcrafted by Mary. She creates every mould and glaze and treats every piece individually to achieve those natural irregularities that we know you’ll embrace.
All Mimica ceramic kitchenware and tableware is made from food-grade stoneware with lead-free glazes. It is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe and designed for daily use in the workplace and home.
